Are you an experienced structural CAD technician looking to join a busy office where you can progress your career? Our client has a network of offices and is one of the largest independently owned consultancies in the UK. As their success is going from strength to strength, they are looking for a structural technician within their London building structures team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a college qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent) to take the next step in a supportive, forward-thinking team. You'll be working on a wide range of projects across public and private sectors, including universities, Network Rail, and Local Authorities.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assisting with the preparation of reinforced concrete general arrangement drawings, detailing and schedules
  • Supporting structural engineers with project administration and documentation
  • Working with AutoCAD, and gradually developing your skills in Revit and BIM workflows

About you:

  • A qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering (HNC/HND or similar)
  • Experience in a design office or similar technical environment
  • Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
  • Basic AutoCAD skills (experience with Revit is a bonus, but training will be provided)
  • A positive attitude and strong attention to detail
