A highly reputable Architectural firm listed amongst the country\’s elite in the AJ100 rankings seeks an experienced Project Architect to work upon an array of projects within the Education sector. An eminent AJ100 Architectural practice are looking to recruit a talented Project Architect who can demonstrate recent experience operating upon projects that sit within the Department for Education framework. It is important that any Project Architect wanting to be considered for this role should be clearly able to apply skills and knowledge acquired from working within the Education sector – particularly on Secondary School projects. This is a lead role within the London based team and the incoming Project Architect will be expected to perform in a capacity that will involve the management and guidance of other team members – whilst liaising with clients and consultants effectively. The successful Project Architect will work directly with senior management on the design and development of projects – from concept stage right through to the completion of a project. The role will be as an Architect, both leading an \”in house\” team of architectural staff and also an external design team comprising sub-consultants for educational schemes. Project Architect Requirements: ARB/RIBA Chartered Architect Minimum 5 years post qualification experience Previous experience within the Education sector – essential Recent (2021-25) Department of Education Schools experience on the current DfE Contractors Framework 21 Demonstrable Secondary School project experience Good communications skills – client facing role, experience of the CEM Process.
