My clients who are an established design practice are looking to speak with a Midweight Interior Designer to join their dynamic team in Somerset County. Specializing in office fit outs and commercial design, this award-winning practice is renowned for crafting designs that embody client values while captivating consumers' imaginations.

As a Mid-Weight Interior Designer, you'll be key to creating inspiring and functional workplaces tailored to people, brands, culture, and purpose. Your role will involve not only crafting innovative designs but also pitching your ideas confidently in front of clients.

The ideal Midweight Interior Designer will share the team's passion for design, possessing the drive to lead projects from feasibility to on-site construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confidently present your design concepts to clients, emphasizing your innovative ideas and vision.
  • Take ownership for designing and building custom workspaces that represent the requirements, culture, and brand of a client.
  • Collaborate closely with Senior Designers and Creative Leads.
  • Guide and support junior team members, assisting them in advancing and evolving their design careers.
  • Champion workplace best practices, including the selection of materials and the optimization of spatial design.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of UK experience in workplace or commercial office design.
  • Degree qualification in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with Adobe packages, Enscape, Sketchup and Procore.
  • Excellent spatial awareness and an ability to visualise the effective use of space.
  • Ability to find creative solutions to design challenges.
  • Enthusiasm, passion, and confidence in your design work.
  • Knowledge of workplace design best practices.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of materials, fabrics, and brands.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both visual and verbal.

On offer for the successful Midweight Interior Designer will be a salary between £35,000 - £42,000 dependent on experience, genuine career progression paths working alongside Creative leads and Senior Designers, and a generous company benefits package.
