We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Chartered Building Surveyor to join our client's dynamic team in Manchester.
The Role:
As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you will deliver outstanding professional services across a wide variety of projects. You will provide expert advice to clients on all aspects of building surveying, including condition surveys, dilapidations, contract administration, and project management. Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring and supporting junior team members through their APC.
Key Responsibilities for the Chartered Building Surveyor:
- To design and oversee works using recognised building contracts and to current technical standards.
- Inspections to involve acquisition surveys, condition reports, measured surveys and defect investigations.
- To prepare reports, schedule of works and works specifications.
- Undertake large value projects independently with sound knowledge on all aspects of professional consultancy services.
Requirements for the Chartered Building Surveyor:
- RICS-accredited degree or equivalent.
- MRICS Chartered status.
- More project focussed than professional.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
