Conrad Consulting are delighted to be once again working with one of the UK's leading Architectural firms, seeking a qualified Architect to join their office just outside Birmingham city centre.
The Company: This practice is a huge name within the Architectural industry with offices based throughout the Midlands, UK and internationally. Regularly appearing in the AJ100 list of practices, the practice prides itself on developing and nurturing their Architectural talent in the business, with incentives in place to encourage all staff members to excel and achieve their utmost potential in their career. The practice are now seeking an experienced Architect to join their ever growing team.
The Position - Architect: This position is ideal for an Architect with a few years post qualification experience, that has experience of working within a private practice/multi-disciplinary environment in which you will ideally have worked on Logistics and/or Industrial schemes. You will be joining a close knit team where you will be provided with outstanding mentorship and development opportunities. As an experienced Architect you will be a key figure within the office, and will need to be confident in client facing situations, capable of managing key accounts within the Logistics & Industrial sectors. You will also need to be confident in running projects and happy to mentor and develop more "junior" level Architects and Assistants in the office. Revit software is hugely prevalent in the office, and with the sectors and project types you will be working on, Revit proficiency is essential for the Architect applying to this position.
Skills and Qualifications required:
- ARB/RIBA Chartered Architect with at least 2-4 years of post qualification experience.
- Exceptional client management and interpersonal skills.
- AutoCAD and Revit proficiency is essential.
Salary, Benefits & Incentives: The practice pride themselves on investing in their employees, and thus offer an attractive rewards/benefits package. Salary reviews are held 3 times a year, which are based on targets set by you. For this position as an Architect, you will receive a salary and benefits package including the following:
- Salary in the region of £37,500-£45,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
- 25 days holiday + Christmas shut down
- Permanent Health Insurance (PHI), inclusive from your 1st day of work.
- Discretionary bonus scheme paid annually (generally around 5% of salary).
- Potential for flexible home/office based working
