An excellent opportunity has arisen for a technically accomplished Architect looking to broaden their career into Project Management within a well-established multi-disciplinary construction and property consultancy based in Sheffield.
Our client delivers an integrated range of Architectural Design, Project Management, and Building Surveying services across the Commercial, Education, and Residential sectors. With a strong pipeline of diverse and technically engaging projects, this is a superb opportunity for an Architect who thrives on technical delivery, team collaboration, and seeing projects through from concept to completion.
The Role
- Lead the design and delivery of architectural projects from feasibility through to completion.
- Manage project programmes, budgets, and client communications.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful technical delivery.
- Oversee quality, compliance, and adherence to UK Building Regulations.
- Support and mentor junior team members.
- Engage with clients to provide clear, proactive project leadership.
- Contribute to the business's culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
About You
- ARB / RIBA registered Architect with strong technical expertise and a solid grounding in project delivery.
- Ideally 3+ years post-qualification experience, although recently qualified Architects with robust Assistant Architect experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage design teams.
- A genuine interest in broadening your career into Project Management.
- Excellent working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and Building Safety Act principles.
- Experience in Commercial, Education, or Residential projects, including refurbishment and retrofit schemes.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit experience highly advantageous.
- Strong communication, organisation, and presentation skills.
- Enthusiastic, professional, and committed to contributing positively to a growing consultancy team.

- Competitive salary: £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience & suitability
