We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our organisation, you will ensure the timely delivery of essential equipment to support our projects, whilst representing Conquip professionally in all interactions.
The Role
Based at our Hampshire depot, you will report directly to the Depot Manager and work closely with our dedicated transport team at headquarters. The role involves 10-hour shifts between 4am and 7pm, with regular hours typically from 6am to 4pm. Flexibility around these times is essential. This is a Monday to Friday position, with occasional overnight stays; weekends are off.
Main Purpose of the Role
Your primary responsibility is to operate within the Transport Department to ensure the safe, secure, efficient, and effective delivery of all orders. You will maintain full compliance with all driving regulations, upholding professional and safe standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect Conquip products professionally, efficiently and punctually
- Liaise with the Transport Manager to maintain a customer-focused approach at all times
- Communicate pro-actively with the office and customers to ensure, or exceed, on-time deliveries
- Adhere strictly to all relevant legislation, including tachograph and DSA driving standards
- Maintain a positive and professional image of the Conquip brand with all customers
- Ensure your vehicle is well-maintained and compliant with all safety and legal requirements
