We are a global engineering organisation, specialising in the manufacturing, construction, and engineering sectors. Presently, we are seeking a dependable and experienced Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of essential equipment for our projects while representing our company in all interactions.

Our Stoke-on-Trent depot offers a range of benefits, including job security, a pension scheme, stay-away bonuses, expenses, and overtime paid at time and a half, with a high and achievable On-Target Earnings (OTE).

The Role: Based at our Fenton Depot, you will report to the Depot Manager. You will work 10-hour shifts, starting between 4am and 7pm, with the typical working hours being 6am and 4pm. Flexibility is essential and required outside of these hours. You may also be required to stay overnight as per the needs of the business, with a fixed payment per stay. This is a Monday to Friday position, with weekends off.

Main Purpose of the Role: Your primary responsibility is to work within the Transport department and ensure the safe, secure, efficient, and effective delivery of all orders. You must also adhere to all driving compliance standards in a professional and safe manner.

  • Deliver and collect Conquip products in a professional, efficient, and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with the Transport Manager to maintain a customer-first approach at all times.
  • Communicate with the office and customers to maintain or exceed on-time delivery.
  • Comply with all legislation, including Tachograph and DSA driving standards.
  • Represent the Conquip brand positively to our customers.
  • Maintain a well-maintained and compliant vehicle as per all necessary requirements.
