We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced Class 1 Delivery Driver to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of essential equipment for our projects while representing our company in all interactions. Class 1 Delivery Driver  Location: Taunton Depot Our Taunton depot offers a range of perks, including stability, a pension scheme, stay-away bonuses, expenses, and overtime paid at time and a half, with a high and achievable On-Target Earnings (OTE). The Role Based at our depot in Taunton, you will report directly to the depot Manager whilst working with our dedicated and experienced transport team based at HQ. You will work 10-hour shifts, between the hours of 4am and 7pm, with your regular hours being 6am and 4pm, flexibility around these times is essential. You may also be required to stay overnight (up to 3 per week), with a fixed payment per stay away. This is a Monday to Friday position, with weekends off. Main Purpose of the Role Your primary responsibility is to work within the Transport department and ensure the safe, secure, efficient, and effective delivery of all orders. You must also adhere to all driving compliance standards in a professional and safe manner. Roles and Responsibilities Deliver and collect Conquip products in a professional, efficient, and effective manner. Liaise with the Transport Manager to ensure a customer-first approach is taken at all times. Communicate with the office and customers to maintain or exceed on-time delivery. Adhere to all legislation, including Tachograph and DSA driving standards. Maintain a positive image of the Conquip brand to our customers. Ensure your vehicle is well-maintained and compliant with all necessary requirements.
