We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of essential equipment for our projects while representing our company in all interactions.
HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver
Location: Hook, Hampshire (RG29)
Our Hampshire depots offer a range of perks, including company quarterly bonus, stability, pension scheme, stay-away bonuses, expenses, and overtime paid at time and a half, with a high and achievable On-Target Earnings (OTE).
The Role
Based at our depots in Hampshire, you will report directly to the depot Manager whilst working with our dedicated and experienced transport team based at HQ. You will work 10-hour shifts, between the hours of 4am and 7pm, with your regular hours being 6am and 4pm; flexibility around these times is essential. You may also be required to stay overnight (up to 2 per week), with a fixed payment per stay away. This is a Monday to Friday position, with weekends off.
Main Purpose of the Role
- Your primary responsibility is to work within the Transport department and ensure the safe, secure, efficient, and effective delivery of all orders.
- Liaise with the Transport Manager to ensure a customer-first approach is taken at all times.
- Communicate with the office and customers to maintain or exceed on-time delivery.
- Maintain a positive image of the Conquip brand to our customers.
