Conquest Planning is a leading financial planning software company with a purpose-driven approach to delivering financial advice. Established in 2018, Conquest Planning was founded by a team of financial technology veterans whose track record of success spans over 30 years in the financial planning software space. The company’s mission is to ensure that everyone has access to great financial advice, transforming the financial planning landscape and improving outcomes for all clients. Users of Conquest Planning leverage its intuitively designed product, simple onboarding process, and data-driven artificial intelligence to accelerate the delivery of beautifully designed, hyper-personalised financial plans. We are seeking a Strategic Product Solutions Analyst – UK to join our dynamic team! The Strategic Product Solutions Analyst supports Conquest’s sales and client engagement efforts across the UK and EMEA by partnering closely with Sales, Product, and client-facing teams. This role is central to ensuring Conquest’s platform is clearly and accurately represented to prospects and clients within the UK financial advice market, while capturing real-world feedback that shapes ongoing product development.

The Strategic Product Solutions Analyst is well suited to an individual with strong subject-matter expertise in UK financial planning and financial services, relevant early-career industry experience, and the potential to grow into increasingly complex sales and strategic responsibilities over time. This position would suit a senior paraplanner/financial adviser with cash flow experience and deep industry knowledge.

The Strategic Product Solutions Analyst brings curiosity, structure, and analytical rigour to client and prospect interactions, product demonstrations, and cross-functional initiatives. They develop deep familiarity with both the UK financial advice sector — including the regulatory landscape, adviser workflows, and market dynamics — and the broader financial advice technology landscape, translating real-world insight into meaningful product and business intelligence for Conquest.

This is a remote/work from home opportunity for candidates located in the United Kingdom.

Duties of the role include:

  • Support sales and client-facing engagements through high-quality product demonstrations, discovery participation, and solution design assistance.
  • Act as a cross-functional facilitator for RFP/RFI responses and client requests.
  • Build deep product and industry knowledge to contribute to product innovation, client satisfaction, and Conquest’s long-term mission and growth strategy.

Product Demonstration & Expertise

  • Support and deliver product demonstrations during prospect and client engagements, clearly communicating Conquest’s value proposition and capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of Conquest’s platform, including planning methodologies, workflows, and integrations relevant to the UK advice market.
  • Assist in translating complex financial planning and technical concepts into clear, audience-appropriate explanations for advisers, paraplanners, business stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Observe, document, and continuously improve demonstration narratives based on internal and external feedback and evolving product capabilities.

Mission & Growth Impact: Effective demonstrations are one of the most critical elements of the sales process. Winning new clients is how Conquest extends quality financial planning to more households across the UK.

Solution Design & Needs Assessments

  • Participate in discovery and needs assessment conversations to understand client and prospect objectives, planning philosophies, workflows, and constraints.
  • Assist in designing solution approaches that align client and prospect needs with Conquest’s product capabilities.
  • Document client and prospect requirements, questions, and enhancement requests in a clear and structured manner.
  • Provide input into the prioritisation of client-driven enhancement requests by synthesising themes across prospects, clients, and sales engagements.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to ensure feedback from the field is accurately reflected in proposals, follow-ups, and internal planning discussions.

Mission & Growth Impact: Accurate understanding and documentation of client and prospect needs ensures Conquest’s solutions align with real-world UK advisory workflows, increasing plan usage, client satisfaction, and long-term retention.

RFP / RFI Management & Co-ordination

  • Serve as a primary facilitator for RFP and RFI responses, ensuring submissions are accurate, complete, timely, and of high quality.
  • Co-ordinate inputs across Sales, Product, Development, Information Security, Legal, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Track deadlines, open questions, and required follow-ups to ensure smooth execution across multiple concurrent requests.
  • Play a key role in compiling, maintaining, and improving reusable response content, knowledge repositories, and internal documentation to support AI-enabled response generation tools, improving efficiency and quality over time.

Mission & Growth Impact: High-quality, timely RFP and RFI responses directly support new client acquisition, expanding the number of organisations — and ultimately households — reached by the Conquest platform.

Industry Knowledge & External Engagement

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to developing knowledge of the UK financial advice sector, including relevant FCA regulation, Consumer Duty requirements, and evolving market dynamics.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive developments, regulatory themes (including FCA consultations and policy statements), and thought leadership by consistently reviewing industry publications and news sources.
  • Apply UK-specific industry insight — including an understanding of adviser charging, platform dynamics, centralised investment propositions, and cashflow modelling practices — in internal discussions and external interactions.
  • As solutioning expertise and industry knowledge grow, represent Conquest at UK and EMEA conferences, industry events, and external meetings as appropriate.

Mission & Growth Impact: Strong UK market fluency improves credibility and impact in both internal and external interactions, helping position Conquest as a knowledgeable partner within the UK financial advice community.

Product Research & Innovation Support

  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Development teams to support research and discovery efforts across the product development lifecycle.
  • Provide real-world input into product ideation, design validation, and post-release enhancements based on UK client and prospect interactions.
  • Assist with business testing, workflow validation, and internal reviews of new features and capabilities.
  • Participate in previews or early feedback sessions with select external stakeholders when appropriate, helping validate usability and real-world applicability prior to broader release.

Mission & Growth Impact: Product input grounded in real UK client usage helps ensure Conquest’s platform scales effectively, enabling clients to deliver better advice to more people without compromising quality or integrity.

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in UK financial planning, wealth management, financial services, fintech, or a related role.
  • Strong foundational understanding of UK financial planning concepts, including cashflow modelling, pension and ISA structures, and FCA-regulated adviser workflows.
  • Familiarity with UK regulatory frameworks, including the FCA’s Consumer Duty, suitability requirements, and the broader financial advice market structure.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Intellectual curiosity and motivation to develop both product knowledge and broader UK market expertise.
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or working towards) are advantageous but not essential.
