Projects typically involve automating complex, high value workflows using agent based architectures, extraction first pipelines, and a mix of large and small language models. Everything we build has to be accurate, explainable, and able to stand up to scrutiny.
Conquer AI is looking for Senior Software Engineers to join our senior engineering & delivery teams. This role is hands on and technical. You will be designing and building AI powered systems that are already live or heading into production. This is not a research role and not a prompt only role. It is for someone who enjoys building real systems end to end and working closely with clients to solve practical problems. You will be involved from early discovery through to production delivery and iteration.
What you will be working on:
- Designing and building agentic AI systems to automate complex workflows
- Implementing extraction first architectures for accuracy and traceability
- Working with large language models and small language models depending on use case
- Building orchestration layers that combine multiple agents and services
- Integrating AI systems with existing data platforms and document management tools
- Designing systems with human in the loop review, confidence scoring, and auditability
- Shipping production ready software, not prototypes that live in notebooks
What we are looking for:
- Strong experience as a software engineer, ideally at senior level
- Hands on experience with agent based or multi agent AI systems
- Practical experience working with LLMs and SLMs in real applications
- Good understanding of machine learning concepts and trade offs
- Strong backend engineering skills and comfort owning systems end to end
- Experience designing systems that prioritise accuracy, explainability, and robustness
- Comfort working in small teams and taking responsibility for outcomes
- Experience in regulated environments or financial services is useful but not essential. Good engineering judgement matters more.
