Conquer AI is hiring a Delivery Manager / Project Manager to support our Head of Delivery as we scale. We’re growing quickly and our delivery workload is ramping up across multiple client and internal AI/software projects. Our Head of Delivery is currently managing projects both onsite with clients and internally with engineering teams, so we’re looking for someone sharp, organised, and highly dependable to help keep projects moving at pace.

This is a hands‑on delivery role for someone who can operate in a fast‑moving consultancy environment, manage multiple workstreams, keep engineers and architects accountable, and make sure projects are delivered properly, not just discussed endlessly in meeting fog. You’ll be working across software and AI projects, supporting delivery from discovery through to build, deployment, and client handover.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the Head of Delivery across multiple client and internal projects
  • Managing project plans, timelines, actions, risks, blockers, and dependencies
  • Running stand‑ups and keeping teams focused on delivery
  • Holding engineers, architects, and stakeholders accountable to agreed actions
  • Working closely with technical teams to understand progress, blockers, and priorities
  • Keeping clients updated in a clear, professional, and confident way
  • Helping coordinate onsite and internal project activity
  • Managing deadlines and making sure commitments are followed through
  • Switching quickly between different client projects and workstreams
  • Bringing structure, urgency, and calm to a fast‑paced environment

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience as a Delivery Manager, Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, or similar
  • Experience working in a consultancy, agency, professional services, or fast‑moving client‑facing environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Comfort working with engineers, architects, and technical teams
  • Strong communication, organisation, and follow‑through
  • Ability to work autonomously without needing constant direction
  • Confidence running stand‑ups, chasing actions, and managing deadlines
  • A practical, delivery‑focused mindset

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with agile delivery methods
  • Experience in a startup, scale‑up, consultancy, or transformation environment
  • Comfort working with senior client stakeholders
  • Understanding of software delivery, APIs, cloud, data, or AI workflows

You’ll do well here if you are:

  • Highly organised
  • Calm under pressure
  • Good with people
  • Comfortable spinning many plates
  • Direct but professional
  • Fast‑moving
  • Commercially aware
  • Able to bring order without slowing everyone down

How to prepare for a job interview at Conquer AI

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If Conquer AI uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Showcase Your Projects

Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
