𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳
Work directly with a Partner to build the AI systems behind how the firm sources, shapes and wins deals. First hire in, you set the technical direction, the patterns and the bar.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱
• Production RAG and agentic systems over deal docs, sponsor data and market intel
• LLM pipelines with real grounding, evaluation, citation traceability and refusal logic, not chatbots that hallucinate at a Partner
• Hybrid retrieval (dense + sparse), proper chunking for structured content, calibrated confidence signals
• LangGraph orchestration, tool calling, MCP-style integrations across internal systems
• Full stack delivery, backend, data, integrations, the UI the deal team actually uses
𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸
Python, Java/.NET, SQL, Azure (preferred), Kafka, microservices, Docker, CI/CD
LLMs, RAG, vector DBs (Pinecone, pgvector, etc.), LangChain/LangGraph, embeddings, fine-tuning (LoRA/QLoRA welcome)
Bonus: Kubernetes, DealCloud or Salesforce integration
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂
• 8+ years hands-on full stack
• Real production AI/LLM experience, you've shipped systems, debugged them at 2am, and have opinions about why fixed-token chunking destroys table data
• Capital markets or front-office tech background, IB, PE, alt assets, hedge funds
• Direct exposure to origination, coverage or deal teams (not just \"worked at a bank\")
• Strong client/stakeholder presence, you can hold a room with senior business stakeholders
𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
We'd be especially interested in people who have worked on:
• Financial services or other complex regulated environments
• Workflow-heavy internal platforms
• Pipeline, approval, or operational decision-support systems
• CRM and enterprise data integrations, including Salesforce or DealCloud
• Systems where auditability, governance, and data controls really matter
