- Work closely with commercial stakeholders, including traders, analysts, risk professionals, and operations teams, to translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Develop and support high‐performance backend services suitable for time‐sensitive trading and analytics workloads.
- Design and deliver integration‐focused solutions that connect trading applications with external venues, market operators, data providers, and downstream commercial and regulatory systems.
- Apply appropriate integration patterns to support messaging, events, APIs, and batch or near‐real‐time data flows where required.
- Design and develop data‐rich user interfaces that present prices, positions, exposures, forecasts, and operational metrics in a clear and performant manner.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines that support the processing, analysis, and reporting of trade, market, operational, and reference data.
- Support critical commercial processes including intraday risk calculations, valuation, settlements, and regulatory reporting.
- Ensure data quality, traceability, and auditability across end‐to‐end commercial technology solutions.
- Contribute to the design and operation of cloud‐based, containerised, or distributed architectures that prioritise reliability, scalability, and observability.
- Participate in production support activities, including incident triage, root cause analysis, and resolution for business‐critical systems.
- Support controlled change and release processes appropriate for live trading and market‐sensitive environments.
- Collaborate with technology and support teams to enable clean operational handover, documentation, monitoring, and long‐term system stability.
- Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and solution reviews to promote consistency, quality, and continuous improvement.
