We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Planing Manager to lead our highways milling operations. This is a key role within our business, responsible for ensuring our Planing services are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
You will oversee day‑to‑day operations, manage plant and resource allocation, support client relationships, and ensure full compliance. You’ll also play a vital role in growing our client base and continuously improving how we work.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinating all Planing (milling) operations
- Managing plant availability, allocation and invoicing accuracy
- Responding to customer enquiries and service requests
- Working closely with the Workshop and internal teams
- Completing monthly Health & Safety audits
- Supporting recruitment and induction
- Ensuring compliance
- Driving continuous improvement across the department
