We are currently looking for experienced and reliable Window Fitters to join our growing team at Connolly Ltd. This role will support a window and door scheme based in and around the Greater Manchester area(s).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in window and door fitting, with a focus on quality, safety, and working in occupied homes. Experience working on this type of schemes is desirable, and the ability to assist with other tasks such as minor joinery, sealing, or finishing works would be a bonus. The job is due to start in January 2026.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Installing windows and doors to a high standard in line with retrofit specifications
  • Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to residents
  • Carrying out sealing, finishing, and adjustments as required
  • Supporting the wider site team with general tasks where needed (e.g. minor joinery or finishing works)
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and tenant-considerate working environment
  • Following health and safety procedures and using appropriate PPE and tools
  • Communicating effectively with site management and Resident Liaison Officers

What we’d like from you:

  • Proven experience in window and door fitting, ideally within retrofit or social housing projects
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and a respectful approach to working in occupied homes
  • CSCS card (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)
