We are currently looking for experienced Site Managers with a background in window and door installations to join our growing team at Connolly Ltd. We have several exciting opportunities based in and around Cumbria area(s), where we are delivering planned works focused on window and door replacements across social housing properties. Previous experience managing similar projects is highly desirable, particularly where site management, tenant liaison and quality assurance are key.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring works are delivered in line with the agreed specification, programme, and quality standards
  • Preparing progress reports, monitoring schedules, and signing off quality assurance documentation
  • Managing delegated budgets in collaboration with the QS team to optimise project profitability
  • Coordinating site teams, setting clear objectives, and planning daily activities to meet targets
  • Allocating tasks and assessing performance to ensure high standards and capability alignment
  • Conducting thorough inductions and maintaining accurate records
  • Ensuring all operatives have the correct materials, PPE, and equipment to carry out works safely and effectively
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and tenant-considerate site environment
  • Overseeing the quality of all works, whether delivered by direct labour or subcontractors
  • Liaising with residents and client representatives to ensure clear communication and minimal disruption

What we’d like from you:

  • Proven experience in Site Management, specifically within window and door replacement projects
  • Strong understanding of Social Housing environments and tenant engagement
  • Valid SMSTS qualification
  • First Aid at Work certification
  • Asbestos Awareness (desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
