About the Role

Due to continued growth and increased workload across our social housing refurbishment contracts, we are looking for reliable and hardworking Rip Out Operatives and Drivers to support our Kitchen and Bathroom refurbishment programmes.

This role is ideal for operatives who enjoy a varied working day, supporting site teams with the removal of existing kitchens and bathrooms, material deliveries, waste management and general site duties.

Multiple vacancies are available across Greater Manchester.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out kitchen and bathroom rip-outs within occupied and void properties.
  • Remove existing units, sanitaryware, flooring, wall coverings and fixtures.
  • Safely load and unload materials, tools and equipment.
  • Deliver materials to site locations as required.
  • Collect waste and ensure correct disposal procedures are followed.
  • Support trades operatives with site preparation activities.
  • Maintain clean and safe working environments.
  • Complete daily vehicle and equipment checks.
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with Health & Safety requirements.
  • Deliver excellent customer service when working within residents' homes.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in construction, refurbishment or site labouring.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to undertake manual handling and physical work.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
  • Reliable, professional and hardworking attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Experience carrying out kitchen and bathroom rip-outs.
  • Previous social housing experience.
  • CSCS Card
  • Experience driving vans and transporting materials.
  • Waste management or site clearance experience.
