The vacancy
Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Property Surveyor, wishing to play an active role in the delivery of our Asset Management Strategy? Do you have the ability to identify, maintain, and improve our housing stock, all whilst delivering a customer-focused approach?
This role will primarily involve undertaking disrepair, damp, and stock condition surveys to determine any work required. As such, you will:
- Assess Stock condition, Housing Health & Safety Rating System (HHSRS), and Energy Efficiency
- Produce energy performance certificates (EPC)
- Manage a small estate/maintenance budget
- Inspect disrepairs, damp, and any other property remediation works
- Demonstrate experience of surveying and/or inspecting, including knowledge of relevant health & safety legislation at an operational level, as well as knowledge and understanding of Building Regulations
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, along with a high level of ICT literacy
- Conduct a professional attitude across both duties and team working
- Have the ability to travel throughout the business areas as required
