We are looking for a property surveyor to cover our Shropshire area. Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Property Surveyor, wishing to play an active role in the delivery of our Asset Management Strategy? Do you have the ability to identify, maintain and improve our housing stock, all whilst delivering a customer focused approach?
This role will primarily involve undertaking disrepair, damp, and stock condition surveys to determine any work required; as such you will:
- Assess Stock condition, Housing Health & Safety Rating System (HHSRS) and Energy Efficiency.
- Produce energy performance certificates (EPC).
- Manage a small estate/maintenance budget.
- Inspect disrepairs, damp and any other property remediation works.
- Demonstrate experience of surveying and/or inspecting, including knowledge of relevant health & safety legislation at an operational level, as well as knowledge and understanding of Building Regulations.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, along with a high level of ICT literacy.
- Conduct a professional attitude across both duties and team working.
- Have the ability to travel throughout the business areas as required.
This role has been identified as suitable for hybrid working which will be a combination of home working and working from our offices, with Head office at Craven Arms and travel around the Shropshire area. This role will be subject to a standard DBS check.
