Are you an experienced construction professional looking to deliver high-quality investment projects that make a real difference to homes and communities? Do you thrive in a role where you can take ownership, drive standards and ensure safe, compliant and value-for-money delivery? Connexus is seeking a Project Surveyor to join our Asset Management Investment Team. This is an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for delivering a portfolio of planned investment projects from early procurement through to final handover. You'll play a key role in shaping the quality and sustainability of our homes, ensuring work is safe, compliant, customer-focused and delivered to the highest standard.
Who we're looking for:
- Building Maintenance/construction degree OND HND or equivalent
- Professional qualification (or working towards) e.g. RICS CIOB RIBA or equivalent
- NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety
- Detailed knowledge of the Building Regulations and Health and Safety legislation, particularly the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015
- Experience and ability to establish, manage and control substantial budgets
- Demonstrable and proven project leadership experience
- Good knowledge of computer systems, especially Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as experience of using asset management databases and computer-aided design (CAD)
This role has been identified as suitable for hybrid working, which will be a combination of home working and working from our offices with Head office at Craven Arms and travel to other offices as required. This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
