An exciting opportunity has arisen in our young person's accommodation for a Life Skills Coach. We are looking for someone to support young people aged 16-25 as they develop the confidence, independence, and practical skills needed to thrive.
In this role, you will be working alongside young people to overcome barriers, achieve personal goals and build bright positive futures. You will provide person-centred support tailored to each young person's individual needs, strengths, and aspirations. You will deliver one-to-one coaching, facilitate group workshops, and help young people develop the practical and emotional skills required for independent living, education, employment, and overall wellbeing.
You will build positive associations and partnerships within the community to create pathways for young people and opportunities leading to sustained participation.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with one weekly shift from 11:30am–7:30pm. At times you may be required to work alternative shifts including weekends to ensure continuity of service.
This role will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
Connexus is a community-focused housing group which aims to deliver good quality homes and services across Shropshire and Herefordshire. The work we do is varied, and no two days are the same. You’ll be joining a team which provides a wide range of excellent support services including independent living for older people, providing specialist accommodation and services for younger people, and managing a refuge and other safe accommodation for those fleeing domestic abuse. Our teams also provide supported temporary accommodation for those aged 18-55 who have complex needs.
