The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 ÂŁ per year.

We are looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team in Herefordshire, maintaining the land owned by Connexus and its customers. This includes the care of open spaces, communal areas, trees, shrub beds, hedges, car parking areas and garage sites. The Grounds Maintenance level 2 role will involve leading a small team, implementing health and safety procedures and carrying out associated paperwork.

  • Experience of leading a small team.
  • Experience in carrying out grass cutting, hedge trimming, shrub pruning, litter picking, weed control.
  • Knowledge and experience of both the use and maintenance of mechanically driven equipment.
  • Experience of using a ride on mower.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and flexible attitude.
  • Excellent customer service attributes and behaviours, enhancing the customers experience.
  • A responsible and hardworking work ethic.
  • A valid driving licence.
  • Experience towing a trailer would be desirable.
  • PA1- PA6 knapsack certificate desirable.

We offer annualised hours for this role as follows:

  • During summer months (March to October) you will work 42.5 hours per week over five days from 7.30am-4.30pm.
  • During winter months (November to February) you will work 26 hours per week over four days 7.30am-2.30pm.

You will receive a consistent monthly salary throughout the year. This role will be subject to a basic DBS check.
