Assets Manager - Construction and Property Maintenance £59,768.71 per annum Craven Arms, Shropshire - Hybrid - Home Working Hours 35 Contract Type Permanent Permanent, Full Time We have an opportunity for an Assets Manager to join our Asset Management Team, to lead and manage a variety of construction projects and implementing annual single investment plans across the Connexus property portfolio. You’ll play a key role in evaluating overseeing and executing our strategic investments in accordance with our procurement, asset management and affordable warmth strategies. With three Contract Managers reporting to you and each team available, you will manage the investment budgets, to ensure that expenditure remains within budgets, including monitoring the effectiveness of consultants and contractors in respect of delivery cost and quality of work. you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of our capital investment programme, working collaboratively with stakeholders, contractors and partners to enhance the quality of the housing stock. You’ll manage the Connexus Asbestos Register ensuring that we met and comply with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and that our Repairs and Maintenance team and external contractors have all necessary asbestos related information prior to commencing work on site. We are seeking a driven and accomplished professional with a strong background in construction and property maintenance to join us. You will have substantial experience and a thorough understanding of building regulations, CDM regulations and Health and Safety legislation, as well as knowledge of the Decent Homes and the requirements of the current HCA Homes Standard. With exceptional project management skills, commercial awareness and the ability to handle complex programmes within budget and deadlines, you’ll be an inspiring leader capable of developing high-performing teams and fostering lasting relationships.
