ALL VISAS WILL BE ORGANISED BY THE COMPANY AND THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF TRAVEL ON YOUR BEHALF TO NORTHERN IRELAND.

CANDIDATES MUST BE IN POSSESSION OF A UKVI IELTS EXAM OR PREPARED TO TAKE THE EXAM AS THIS IS A REQUIREMENT FOR A UK VISA.

Our client requires an experienced wood veneer operator with proven knowledge of different veneer cuts, layon patterns and related cutting, stitching, and pressing processes. We would consider an experienced Bench Joiner looking to take their career into the veneering specialism.

• Ability to read technical drawings gained in the cabinet / furniture-making industry.
• Proven knowledge of different cuts of veneer and an ability to identify each.
• Understanding of different matching techniques used in creating veneer layons.
• Skilled in the bonding of veneers to substrates including correct glue application to prevent bleed through.
• Excellent attention to detail with a good eye for colour and grain matching.
• Strong work ethic and team skills.
• Prior experience as a bench joiner in high-end furniture making.
• Experience in marquetry techniques
• Experience with hot glue splicer
• Experience with through-feed glue/press line.
