Join our client as a Plant Mechanic. We're offering an excellent chance for the ideal candidate to become part of our expanding equipment rental company. As a Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of heavy machinery, ensuring optimal functionality, safety, and operational efficiency.
What you'll do:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of heavy equipment, including powered access machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using specialised tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and prioritise equipment repair needs.
- Effectively manage time and resources to meet maintenance schedules and minimise equipment downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.

What you'll need:
- Previous experience working as a plant mechanic in the repair of plant and equipment or similar.
