Our clients, leading engineering and fabrication companies based in the United Kingdom, are seeking experienced MIG/GMAW Welders with strong fabrication skills to join their teams. This is an exciting opportunity for international candidates looking to build a long-term career in the UK under the Skilled Worker visa route.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG (Gas Metal Arc Welding) to join metal components in line with technical drawings and specifications.
  • Carry out general fabrication work, including cutting, bending, forming, and assembling metal structures.
  • Interpret and work accurately from detailed fabrication and engineering drawings.
  • Set up and operate welding and fabrication equipment effectively and safely.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure welds and fabricated parts meet required standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in MIG/GMAW welding and metal fabrication, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or heavy engineering sectors.
  • Ability to read and interpret fabrication and welding drawings and symbols.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes, welding techniques, and safety standards.
  • Must have passed, or be willing to take, the UKVI IELTS English language test as required by UK Skilled Worker visa regulations.
  • Relevant welding/fabrication certifications or trade qualifications are preferred.
  • Willingness to relocate to the UK with company sponsorship.

Full-time positions available. Urgent trade tests are being arranged this weekend (Friday & Saturday). Overtime is available, and contracts range from 3 to 5 years.
