This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic finance team, supporting key financial processes to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities: Invoice Processing Verify, process, and code supplier invoices for approval.
Customer Invoicing Work closely with account managers and the transport team to generate accurate invoices.
Accounts Payable & Receivable Ensure timely payments and collections.
Bank Reconciliation Perform regular checks to maintain financial accuracy.
Data Entry & Expense Tracking Maintain accurate financial records and monitor company expenses.
VAT & Tax Compliance Assist in preparing VAT returns and tax documentation.
Financial Reporting Support the preparation of monthly reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
What Were Looking For: Minimum2 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role (transport/haulage experience is a plus).
Proficiency inaccounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
Strong understanding ofVAT, tax regulations, and financial processes.
Excellentattention to detail and organisational skills.
AAT qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
