Connexus UK is recruiting on behalf of our client, an engineering company that provides specialist load bank solutions for power system testing across Europe. Their team supports mission-critical operations with high-quality equipment, reliable service, and 24/7 technical coverage.
We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to commission, install, and maintain load banks at client sites throughout Europe. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical engineering, problem-solving, and travelling to support international clients.
Key Responsibilities- Commission, install, and test load banks on client sites across Europe
- Carry out mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance
- Ensure all work adheres to safety, quality, and operational standards
- Provide technical support and client guidance during commissioning
- Prepare service reports, test certificates, and technical documentation
- Liaise with operations and logistics teams to coordinate site visits effectively
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification (or equivalent practical experience)
- Experience with electrical systems, mechanical assemblies, or commissioning industrial equipment
- Background in power systems or load bank equipment is an advantage
- Strong hands-on problem-solving skills
