We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected supplier of professional power tools and engineering equipment, serving trade professionals, manufacturers and engineering businesses across Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Business Development Representative who enjoys building relationships, winning new business and helping customers find the right solutions. You'll inherit a strong reputation in the market while having the freedom to develop your own customer base and grow sales across your territory.
The Role
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities across Belfast and County Down.
- Building and developing long-term relationships with trade customers, engineering companies and industrial clients.
- Managing and growing existing customer accounts.
- Providing expert advice on a wide range of professional power tools and engineering products.
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Delivering exceptional customer service before, during and after the sale.
- Representing the business professionally while promoting its reputation for quality and service.
About You
- Experienced in field sales, business development or account management.
- A confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing their own territory.
- Organised, disciplined and target-driven.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
- Flexible, adaptable and eager to succeed.
- In possession of a full UK driving licence.
- Experience within engineering, industrial supplies, welding equipment or power tools would be highly advantageous. However, candidates with a strong technical sales background from related industries are also encouraged to apply.
