Location: Connexus, 1210 Centre Park Square, Warrington, WA1 1RU

Annual Leave: 22 days + bank holidays

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. 1 out of every 4 Saturdays 9am-1pm (paid time and a half or 1/2 days flex)

Carbon is part of The Connexus Group, and provides affinity insurance services to a motor manufacturer and the Professional Footballers Association as well as having a cycle insurance business. We work with some of the world’s largest motor manufacturers and dealerships, supporting them with web support, accident aftercare, affinity insurance products and commercial fleet management. Over the last two years, we have grown from having 170 to 200+ employees, and our dedication to training and development has helped us to retain over 95% of our staff. We have successfully opened a brand-new business within the group, and our customer base has more than doubled. We are situated within walking distance of Warrington Bank Quay Station and Warrington Central Station, and have close links to the M62, M56 and M6.

Job Description

Working alongside a team of advisers, you will proactively manage 'your' customers from beginning to end, whilst also contributing to individual and team productivity targets. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and servicing existing client's insurance needs
  • Maximising new business opportunities whilst delivering outstanding customer service
  • Proactive in supporting the wider team in delivering its call handling levels
  • Proactively obtaining future dated leads to increase sales and maximise revenue opportunities
  • Renewal of existing client policies by servicing renewal requirements
  • Produce and/or request insurance documentation
  • Undertake any other duties as necessary

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience in insurance sales ensuring compliance with FCA regulations.

  • A minimum of two years relevant experience
  • Knowledge of personal lines including motor, household and travel risks
  • Knowledge of Open GI and Acturis software would be helpful
  • A proven track record of placing business with a selection of capacity providers
  • A knowledge of the sale of ancillary products such as legal expenses would be of assistance
  • Ability to build instant customer support
  • Experience in retention or sales is preferable
