This role is ideal for someone who\’s already thriving in mid-senior QA roles and is now ready to shape quality processes, mentor others, and build automation that scales.
You\’ll operate with autonomy, partner closely with engineering and product, and help ensure we ship software that\’s not just functional — but reliable, fast, and user-centric.
Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end quality strategy for high-impact features, services, or user flowsDesign, build, and maintain test automation across UI and APIs using Cypress, Postman, Pytest, and CucumberDrive cross-squad testing efforts (e.g., integration testing, data validation, shared workflows)Work with DevOps and engineers to optimize CI/CD quality gates and feedback loopsMentor engineers and conduct code/test reviews, pairing sessions, or workshopsAnalyze flakiness, test debt, or regressions — and design solutions to prevent future occurrencesDefine and track quality metrics, ensuring reliable release readinessPropose and lead technical initiatives to improve tooling, infrastructure, or quality processesCollaborate closely with Support teams to triage customer-reported issues, reproduce bugs, and ensure clear, actionable tickets are created for engineering
Requirements
5-8 years of experience in quality assurance roles, with increasing technical scope and responsibilityExpert-level experience in:Cypress, Postman, Pytest, CucumberSQL-based validation and backend testingCI/CD tools and test integration workflows (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)Demonstrated ability to lead test strategy and delivery across multiple squads or featuresProficient in Python or JavaScript for scripting and automation toolingStrong collaboration skills across QA, engineering, and product functions
Preferred Skills
Experience designing shared test libraries or automation frameworksFamiliarity with test observability and monitoring (e.g. Sentry)Exposure to performance or chaos testing conceptsExperience in testing within microservices, containers, and cloud-native systems (e.g. GCP)
