We employ over 1900 people to manage and develop our large portfolio of nearly 56,000 homes serving over 75,000 customers across London, the East Midlands, Southern and the East of England.
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager – Supported Housing to provide operational leadership across a portfolio of supported living and housing services. You will oversee specialist housing management services and services that support adults with a range of needs, including those with experience of homelessness, asylum seekers and refugees, and individuals requiring mental health or specialist support. This is a key management role responsible for ensuring services are safe, compliant and high performing, delivering excellent, personalised and value-for-money services that achieve strong outcomes for customers.
Key Aspects Of The Role Include:
- Leading and developing multi-site teams to deliver high-quality supported housing services
- Driving performance against KPIs, regulatory standards and contractual requirements
- Embedding a strong safeguarding culture and overseeing incidents, complaints and risk
- Managing relationships with commissioners, partners and stakeholders
- Supporting service development, innovation and continuous improvement
- Managing service budgets and ensuring efficient, effective resource deployment
What You'll Need To Succeed:
- Proven experience managing supported housing or support services for adults with support needs (e.g. homelessness, mental health, refugees)
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, housing law, welfare benefits and best practice in supported housing
- Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and driving performance in a multi-site environment
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including commissioners
- Experience managing budgets and delivering cost-effective services
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences
- A values-driven approach, promoting equality, diversity and inclusion
- Understanding of Psychologically Informed Environments and Trauma Informed Care (desirable)
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (desirable)
