MTVH are looking for a Night Concierge to provide overnight cover, safeguarding, and support to residents within a supported housing setting. You will be the first point of contact during the night, ensuring the safety, security, and wellbeing of customers and the building. This is a lone‑working role, with access to out-of-hours management support when required. Therefore, as part of the Care & Support team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and supportive environment overnight. You will respond calmly to emergencies, manage access to the building, complete health and safety checks, and communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overnight waking cover and act as the first point of contact for residents
  • Maintain the safety and security of the building, including access control, CCTV monitoring, and regular health & safety checks
  • Respond appropriately and promptly to emergencies, including medical incidents and safeguarding concerns
  • Accurately record incidents, events, and maintenance issues within logs and reporting systems
  • Promote a safe, non‑judgemental, and supportive environment for all residents

What You'll Need To Succeed

  • Experience dealing directly with customers or members of the public in a busy environment
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and remain calm under pressure
  • Strong communication skills with a professional and non‑judgemental approach
  • Understanding of, or empathy with, individuals facing challenges such as mental ill health, homelessness, or complex needs
  • Basic IT skills and the ability to keep clear and accurate records

Please note: This role involves regulated activity with vulnerable adults and will require an Enhanced DBS check including the Adult Barred List.
