Job Title: User Interface Designer

Location: Manchester HQ (Office-based)

The Role

We’re looking for a UI Designer to join our Product & Design team at ConnexAI, where you’ll help define how users experience our AI-powered SaaS platform used by organisations worldwide to engage millions of customers daily.

You\’ll design the front end of real-time dashboards, data-driven insights tools, omnichannel comms modules, and cutting-edge AI features. This will include a mixture of responsive interfaces, data visualisation, and high-usage enterprise UIs.

Your day-to-day will revolve around Figma: maintaining and evolving our design system, collaborating across teams, and iterating quickly to meet real-world product demands. It’s hands-on, fast-moving, and full of opportunities to produce great designs.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain UI components and patterns across web and mobile applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create intuitive interfaces
• Translate wireframes and user requirements into high-fidelity mockups and prototypes in Figma
• Contribute to and evolve our design system and component libraries
• Ensure consistency and usability across all product interfaces

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience in UI design
• Proficiency in Figma and other design/prototyping tools
• Experience working with design systems and component libraries
• Strong portfolio showcasing user interface work and design process
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and a passion for user-centred design

Nice to have

• Experience working in agile development environments
• Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
• Basic understanding of React and MUI5
