About the Role: As an IT Technician at ConnexAI, you’ll be key in supporting our internal infrastructure across multiple global offices. Reporting to the Global Head of Infrastructure, you’ll handle day-to-day IT operations, onboarding, and troubleshooting while driving service quality and helping embed a culture of best practice. Based in our Manchester HQ, you’ll work hands-on with local teams and remotely support international offices to keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboard new starters with devices and software using our standard build process
- Maintain the internal asset register
- Manage users and permissions via Active Directory and Group Policy
- Monitor internal systems including antivirus, WSUS, and third-party updates
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and coordinate with vendors as needed
- Configure and support VPN access for remote users
- Set up and maintain VLANs to ensure correct network segmentation
- Support and maintain virtual environments
- Identify opportunities to improve internal IT processes
- Act as an escalation point within the Infrastructure team
- Champion a culture of IT security, reliability, and user-first service
