Information Technology Technician

About the Role:
As an IT Technician at ConnexAI, you’ll be key in supporting our internal infrastructure across multiple global offices. Reporting to the Global Head of Infrastructure, you’ll handle day-to-day IT operations, onboarding, and troubleshooting while driving service quality and helping embed a culture of best practice.
Based in our Manchester HQ, you’ll work hands-on with local teams and remotely support international offices to keep everything running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
· Onboard new starters with devices and software using our standard build process
· Maintain the internal asset register
· Manage users and permissions via Active Directory and Group Policy
· Monitor internal systems including antivirus, WSUS, and third-party updates
· Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and coordinate with vendors as needed
· Configure and support VPN access for remote users
· Set up and maintain VLANs to ensure correct network segmentation
· Support and maintain virtual environments
· Identify opportunities to improve internal IT processes
· Act as an escalation point within the Infrastructure team
· Champion a culture of IT security, reliability, and user-first service

· Microsoft MTA / MCSA / MCSP (required)
· Experience managing virtual environments
