Our client, a fast-growing FinTech organisation delivering innovative digital financial solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Senior React Native Developer to join their dynamic technology team. This is a key opportunity to play a leading role in the development and launch of a major new mobile app scheduled for release in September 2025. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in React Native development, combined with a passion for delivering seamless mobile experiences across iOS and Android platforms.
Main Purpose of the Role:
- Take ownership of mobile app design, development, and optimisation using React Native.
- Drive the delivery of a high-performance, scalable mobile app with outstanding user experience.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Developers, and key stakeholders to deliver business-critical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable React Native code.
- Optimise app components for performance, responsiveness, and smooth user experience across iOS and Android devices.
- Develop scalable, maintainable front-end architecture with reusable components and libraries.
- Integrate native modules and third-party APIs as needed.
- Manage end-to-end mobile app release processes for App Store and Google Play.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and participate in design forums, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with security, operations, and compliance teams to meet regulatory and security standards.

- 5+ years of experience in mobile app development with significant hands-on React Native expertise.
- Strong knowledge of iOS and Android platform fundamentals.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices in mobile app design.
- Familiarity with Redux, RESTful APIs, relational databases (MSSQL), and version control tools such as GitHub.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Mocha or Jest.
- Strong understanding of clean code practices, domain-driven design, and modern architecture principles.
- Familiarity with Scrum delivery frameworks and Agile environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Comfortable working hybrid: 2-3 days onsite in Central London.
