We are currently recruiting for an experienced KS2 Mainstream Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Runcorn primary school, set in the heart of its local community.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive school team, making a real difference to children’s learning and development.
The Role:
- Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 2.
- Providing classroom support to pupils with additional needs.
- Working with children with SEN, adapting support to meet individual needs.
- Supporting positive behaviour and engagement.
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team.
- Helping pupils achieve their full potential in a mainstream setting.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN is essential.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- A patient, nurturing and proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
