As an EYFS Tutor, you will play a vital role in a child’s early education journey by creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to positively influence children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development at a crucial stage of their lives.

  • Build warm, trusting relationships with young children and their families
  • Provide early learning support across key EYFS areas (e.g., communication and language, personal/social development, phonics, early numeracy)
  • Create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment tailored to each child’s stage and interests
  • Track developmental progress and provide simple feedback to families and/or professionals
  • Adapt teaching and play-based activities to meet each child’s individual needs

Qualifications:

  • Recognised Early Years or Teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, EYTS, Level 3 Early Years Educator)
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
  • Prior experience working with children aged 3–5 in educational or childcare settings
  • SEN/SEMH experience is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative, patient, and child-led approach

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in education or early years
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Ability to travel locally within Leeds
  • Flexibility to deliver sessions between Monday and Friday
  • Experience working with young children with additional needs

Benefits:

  • Flexible working hours to suit your availability
  • Opportunities for ongoing professional development and training
  • A highly rewarding role with the chance to make a lasting impact on young children’s lives
  • Access to our Tutor Toolkit skills development package (over 34 CPD courses)
  • Ongoing support through our quality assurance and mentoring programme
  • Weekly PAYE pay and competitive rates
