About the Role

Connex Education is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work across multiple partner schools in Stoke-on-Trent. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with experience in education or care, or graduates passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs.

Partner schools support pupils with diverse needs including:

  • Autism
  • ADHD
  • Speech and language difficulties
  • Social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs

What You’ll Need

  • Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN in schools or similar care/education settings
  • Willingness to provide personal care where necessary
  • Confidence and composure when working with challenging behaviour
  • Compassionate, patient, and resilient attitude
  • Current DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through Connex Education
  • Proof of right to work in the UK (required to apply)
