Connex Education is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants & Carers to work in partnership with schools across Lichfield. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in education, health, or care—or for graduates passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
The Schools Partner schools cater to pupils with a wide range of needs including:
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- Speech and language difficulties
- Sensory needs
- Social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges

We are seeking compassionate, patient, and resilient individuals who can offer both educational and personal care support, helping pupils develop independence, confidence, and life skills.
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND in schools or similar care/education settings
- Willingness to provide personal care where necessary
- Confidence and composure when working with challenging behaviour
- Compassionate, patient, and resilient attitude
- Current DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through Connex Education
- Proof of right to work in the UK (required to apply)
