Connex Education is working with a popular Secondary School across Teesside who are recruiting for a Humanities Teacher to work full-time.
The school is very popular within Redcar and are currently looking for someone who shares their passion for education to carry out Humanities lessons for key stages 3 and 4. The school offers a friendly atmosphere with a motivated team of teachers focused on student progress. They are looking for a Humanities Teacher who is hard working, resilient and who wants to make a difference to pupils' education. The right candidate will be able to confidently step into the department and continue teaching the existing schemes of work.
Assignment Details:
This role will commence ASAP and will last for the remainder of the academic year.

Person Specification:
- Must be 21 and over.
- Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
- PGCE in Humanities or related subject from a recognized provider.
- You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
- Have experience teaching Humanities in a UK secondary school setting.
- Be able to plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 Humanities lessons across ability ranges.
- Be passionate about instilling a love of Humanities.
- Have excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills.
