About the role
Connex Education is in partnership with a vibrant Primary School within the Loughborough area to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant providing 1:1 support to work on a supply basis starting ASAP. You will have strong teamwork skills as the school has a key focus on teamwork and collaboration to achieve student and school goals. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a dynamic and inclusive classroom setting. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional development of each child. Person Specification
- Experience working in an educational environment with children aged between 4 and 11 years.
- Be willing to support on a 1:1 basis or work in small groups with children
- Have behaviour management skills
- Knowledge of Phonics and Read, Write Inc
- Be organised and reliable
- Have a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to process a new one
- Willing to go the extra mile!
