Connex Education is in partnership with a vibrant Primary School within the Coalville area to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis starting ASAP. You will have strong teamwork skills as the school has a key focus on teamwork and collaboration to achieve student and school goals. This school is at the heart of a thriving and creative community, and you will need to meet high standards and match the ambitious expectations alongside the staff and governors. A key ethos and aim for this school are to ensure all learners are provided focused support to ensure excellent progress is made.
Duties will include general classroom support for all pupils in KS1 and KS2, facilitating learning through play and small group interventions for pupils requiring additional help. The successful candidate must have the ability to work in close partnership with the Class Teacher in helping to promote the acquisition of learning goals.

Person Specification
- Experience working in an educational environment with children aged between 4 and 11 years.
- Be willing to support on a 1:1 basis or work in small groups with children
- Have behaviour management skills
- Knowledge of Phonics and Read, Write Inc
- Be organised and reliable
- Have a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to process a new one
- Willing to go the extra mile!
