About the Role
Are you a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in Yeovil and the surrounding areas? Connex Education is seeking enthusiastic and committed teachers to work within welcoming and supportive primary schools across Yeovil and nearby areas of South Somerset. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on pupils’ learning and development during the important Key Stage 2 years.
Whether you are an experienced KS2 Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable classroom experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to join schools that value high-quality teaching and learning. Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS
- Recent teaching experience or placements within Key Stage 2 settings
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies
- A positive approach to behaviour management and creating an engaging learning environment
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude
- Current DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex Education
