About the Role.
Connex Education is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants on behalf of a specialist setting in Wigan. The school is looking for both full-time and part-time staff to start just after February half term.
About the School.
This school provides high-quality care and education to students with Complex Learning Needs and Severe Learning Difficulties. Offering a bespoke curriculum and class sizes of 3 – 11 students, the staff are dedicated to providing the best possible education experience to all students.
Assignment Details.
The school has shifts available Monday – Friday, 8.30am until 3.30pm. They are looking for staff members who can commit to full-time, or even 1/2/3 days per week.

Person Specification.
- Experience of working in an education or residential setting with SLD
- Be willing to provide all aspects of personal care
- Have confidence working with students who display challenging behaviours
- Be confident working in accordance with individualised learning plans
- Have a full enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one
