Connex Education is proud to be supporting a wonderful Primary school in Warrington as they seek a dedicated Level 3 Qualified Y1 Teaching Assistant to join their team from February. This role is working alongside the class teacher 5 mornings per week. This is a part-time role, Monday to Friday, 8.30-12.30pm.
You will be assisting the class teacher and working closely with the KS1 team. Throughout the morning, you will take small groups of pupils to assist with maths and English. You may on occasion be asked to work some part of the working week to provide some 1-1 support to a couple of the pupils with SEN, sharing the responsibility with the employed 1-1 TA. Experience working 1-1 is also desirable.

- Providing tailored 1:1 support to a child with a range of SEN needs
- Working collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO to ensure pupils thrive
- Helping to create a nurturing, inclusive and positive learning environment
- Assisting with routines, smooth transitions, and personalised support plans
