Connex Education are excited to be working with a reputable school based in Mansfield who are looking for unqualified teachers to provide regular support. You will be responsible for covering classes across multiple departments, ensuring smooth learning in the absence of the regular teacher. Your primary focus will be on behaviour management, supporting students to maintain progress and stay on task. All lesson materials will be provided for you, and you will be expected to promote positive behaviours and engagement throughout the day.

  • Have some experience working with young people in either a school setting or a similar environment, i.e.- NCS / Sports coaching etc

  • Be confident in your ability to lead a class of children aged 11-16 years.

  • Be able to work well with challenging behaviour.

  • Hold strong communication skills both orally and written.

  • Punctual and organised

  • Willing to undergo continual professional training.

  • Be reliable and committed to working within an education environment

  • Able to work under pressure effectively and ‘think on your feet’

  • Ambitious and enthusiastic with a ‘can do attitude’ and good sense of humour.

Assignment Details:

For the graduate unqualified teacher role we have staggered start dates, you are able to start immediately, or later on in the school year. Once employed there will be opportunities for the rest of the academic year and in to the 2025/26 academic year also; meaning you will have consistent work on offer during term time.
